Kahler Asten Trail marathon
On Saturday, August 13, in Nordenau!
It's that time again in August! The Schmallenberg district Nordenau is the venue for the Kahler Asten trail marathon. The start and finish area is again located at the Schützenhalle, Am Herhagen 6, in the high village Nordenau (566 m above sea level). From there, the route is sometimes steeply uphill, sometimes rapidly downhill through the impressive scenery at the foot of the Kahler Asten.
There are three different routes to choose from for this challenging mountain bike race. On the one hand, a short course with 30 kilometers and 950 meters of altitude, a medium course with a total of 60 kilometers and 1,750 meters of altitude, and one with 100 kilometers and 2,900 meters of altitude. Over 90% of the route is on forest and gravel paths through the low mountain range landscape of the Sauerland.
The Kahler Asten trail marathon is also the 3rd race of the Nutrixxion Marathon Trophy.

Long distance, 100 km (2,900 m), at 11.30 a.m., mass start
Middle distance, 60 km (1,750 m), at 11.40 a.m., mass start
Short distance, 30 km (950 m), at 11.50 a.m., mass start

24,00 € (payable online at registration)

Time limit:
The continuation over 100 km will be closed at 15:30 at 65 km.

The routes
These routes are driven at the Kahler Asten trail marathon. After 30 km, the route leads directly past the start/finish area at Schützenhalle. The middle distance (60 km) completes another 30 km loop. For the long distance (100 km), two further laps of 35 km each must be completed from there.
